This was a commission for a private residence. The inspiration is taken from an antiquated map which reveals how the landscape in which the client is rooted has changed over time. The postmark reveals his initials showing that he is entrenched in this landscape, where the scenery that once contained a large forest, continues to survive in diminished tree lined glades today.
