Sand & Water is a hand woven triple cloth containing opaque and translucent alternating panels. The use of pleating further enhances the overall surface quality and pattern. This work is made of silk and hand dyed monofilament and is lined with silk organzine. Inspiration came from the movement of sand and sea where one meets the other on the shoreline.
