This was a commission undertaken for a private client. The complete work consists of four pieces. Two back pieces complement and shadow two front pieces. The work is hung on bespoke brackets that allows for breathing space between the pieces whilst also making room between the back piece and the wall. Certain light creates a third mirrored image to appear on the wall surface. Soft, fine grey cotton interacts with monofilament and the sparkle of metallic thread to evoke a calming, reflective atmosphere within the space. The colour of the work is constantly changing with the light whilst the entire collection appears to float and move effortlessly with a single breath of air.
